The Doctor
The doctor followed a distinguished academic path, beginning from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which he completed, and chose to continue his studies at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. This path provided him with a comprehensive scientific foundation, which is now reflected in the overall approach to diagnosis, treatment, and proper management of medical therapy.
Academic Career
His involvement in scientific research led to the acquisition of a Master's degree in 'Applied and Surgical Anatomy' and a PhD in Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Additionally, he participated in research publications and teaching at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, maintaining an active presence in the academic field.
Clinical Experience
His clinical career began as a rural doctor at the Horigos Regional Clinic in Kozani and continued with specialization in Internal Medicine at the 'G. Gennimatas'. After completing his specialty, he served as an assistant consultant at the same hospital, working under particularly demanding conditions, including staffing a COVID-19 department. Through this experience, he developed substantial clinical competence in managing a wide range of acute and chronic pathological conditions.
Today
Today he maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki, while also working as the head Internist at the Elderly Care Unit 'Agia Kyriaki'. His goal is to provide personalized pathological care through careful assessment, clear communication, a relationship of trust built with consistency and respect for each patient.
Scientific activity
Scientific Research
His research activity includes multiple international scientific publications (PubMed - Scopus) and the completion of a PhD thesis at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, contributing to the production and advancement of medical knowledge.
Teaching
He has actively participated in teaching students and health professionals, as well as in educational activities of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Red Cross, imparting knowledge and clinical experience.
